The RS4201 SAS Marathon 4U Rack Storage Server line offers exceptional performance value, using Intel's latest line of Quad Core Xeon processor technology. With up to 64GB of memory and two 1000T Ethernet ports, the RS4201 SAS Marathon is well suited for the most processor intensive application environments where performance and capacity is essential. In addition, the RS4201 SAS Marathon features twenty-four removable, hot swap SAS drives totaling up to 24TB of data space that can be configured as raw space or intelligently in several RAID environments. And because Applied Control Concepts uses Intel branded architecture, there are several operating system environments to choose from, including Microsoft Server solutions, several distributions of Linux and virtualization solutions from top software manufacturers such as VMWare.
